ssgt rattle

I drew and painted this rattle snake after the one I kept in my freezer in the military. My friend found a rattler that got hit buy a car. knowing me, she told me about it and we went to find it. I guse all she wanted was the skin (which was actually reall pretty) I gutted and skined it and my roomate found out about it. Then she moved out because she graduated. I decided to let the head defrost (since I collect skulls, this would be a major awesomeness to my collection) However..
I got a roomate durring that day that I didn't know about and she freaked out and told on me...My friend called me on my cell and told me that i had 8 Mil police investigating my room.
Then they called me in and made me get rid of it 8__8
I was in TX so I guse that rattle snake stuff is pretty common there so I wasn't punished, but it was hard to get a roomate after that. the girl that told me about the snake ended up being my roomate.
I kept the tail and hid it in one of my BDU pockets, but I forgot I put it there and trough it away...

Anyways, long storry short, This pic is in memory of that snake. I got a taxedermy book that has some pics of rattle snakes n' stuff. I really love rattlesnakes. we had one for a short while when I was a toddler, before my mom saw it yawn and made my dad get ride of it...^__^"pfff lol
